On Saturday, October 31, 2009, the Prince George's County Volunteer Fire & Rescue Association honored five individuals who have provided more than 50 years of service each to their respective companies, and who continue to participate in the Prince George's County Volunteer Fire & Rescue Association.
Each of these distinguished gentlemen received a citation from the State of Maryland, a flag that was flown in their honor over the Maryland State House, a collection of historical stamps, and other presentations in their honor.
